Allie Tasche, M.S. is a dedicated leader in the disability community with over 18 years of experience spanning education, systems change, nonprofit leadership, and advocacy. Her career has been guided by a commitment to inclusion, safety, and belonging for autistic and neurodivergent individuals and their families.
Allie began her career as a special education teacher before moving into coaching and leadership roles focused on building inclusive practices across schools and community settings. She has served in national nonprofit leadership as Vice President of National Programs at Autism Society of America, overseeing safety, healthcare, employment, and education/training initiatives to advance systems to better support autistic individuals and underserved communities. Allie currently serves the Behavioral Health Workforce Implementation Support and Education Center (BHWISE) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Throughout her career, Allie has partnered with autistic individuals and families, educators, first responders, clinicians, government, and community organizations to strengthen systems that affect safety, well-being, and access. She brings a practical, collaborative, and solutions-oriented perspective to her work - grounded in lived experience, evidence-based practice, and deep respect for autistic voices.
As an Advisory Board member for the National Autism Safety Network, Allie is committed to advancing safer, more responsive systems that protect and empower autistic individuals across all settings.
