Dr. Suzanne Rybczynski is the Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Medical Programs at East Tennessee Children's Hospital and the Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center College of Medicine Knoxville. She is a 1991 graduate of the University of Mississippi. She earned her Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in 1995.
Dr. Rybczynski completed her residency in pediatrics at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. Dr. Rybczynski has 30 years of experience in pediatric healthcare, including clinical work as a general pediatrician and pediatric hospitalist in Texas, New York, Maryland, and Australia. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Her research is focused on suicide prevention in youth, especially those with neurodevelopmental disabilities.
