Irene Pfister is a high school English teacher in Kirkland, Washington. Her brother, Jonathan Hoang, a 21-year-old with autism, went missing on March 31, 2025. Abduction or foul play is suspected by the family. Since then, Irene has worked to raise awareness regarding missing and vulnerable adults with intellectual and cognitive disabilities and advocate for the implementation of a Purple Alert in Washington. More information about Jonathan’s case can be found at www.findjonathanhoang.com.
